Moonbird

Moonbird

Moonbird – Roos Mattaar

In an attic workshop a young engineer is crafting a metal bird. When she leaves and the moonlight shines through the attic’s window, the metal creature wakes up. Outside birds are calling. The metal bird is mesmerized by the big and bright moon. The curious and somewhat clumsy bird takes its first hops and flight attempts in the attic. Then it risks the big jump…
Moonbird tells the story of the relationship between the bird and its creator and the bird’s desire to explore the world outside.
