Clean Sweep of RTS Award Nominations for UWE Animation

We are delighted to announce that, this year, all five animated films nominated for the prestigious Royal Television Society Awards were made by Bristol School of Animation graduates and students.  

Luis Cook, senior lecturer in Animation, said,’ This is amazing news! It’s a clean sweep of nominations for Bristol School of Animation and we couldn’t be more proud of our students and what they’ve achieved.’ 

Nominations for the Animation award are (in no particular order):

Goal Hangin’, Sam Maxwell, University of the West of England 

Offerlamm, Tova Persson, University of the West of England 

The Last Straw, Cleo Parker, Lily Goodwin, Ruby Black, Anna Taylor, Erin Hilsdon, Julia Henauer, Megan Cunnington, University of the West of England 

The award ceremony will take place at Watershed in Bristol on Tuesday 28th February 2023. BSA staff and students will be in attendance, and we wish every one of our nominees the best of luck.
